Risk Adjustment Coordinator
Community Health Choice is a local, non-profit Managed Care Organization providing healthcare services to underserved Texans. As a Risk Adjustment Coordinator, you will oversee and manage risk adjustment activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and optimal coding accuracy through data analysis and collaboration with healthcare providers.

Responsibilities
Overseeing and managing risk adjustment activities to ensure compliance with regulations and optimal coding accuracy
Reviewing and analyzing healthcare data
Facilitating health record reviews
Collaborating with healthcare providers for process improvement
Ensuring adequate documentation for accurate risk adjustment scores
Supporting the coordination of relevant projects and initiatives aimed at meeting organizational goals and delivering high-quality care
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in health data analysis, risk adjustment methodologies, and understanding of healthcare coding standards (e.g., ICD-10, HCC coding)
Strong organizational and coordination skills for managing risk adjustment projects and ensuring compliance with established regulations
Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with providers, internal teams, and external partners
Experience with healthcare management systems and familiarity with data-driven decision-making processes
Ability to work independently on-site in Houston, TX while meeting deadlines and organizational objectives
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Healthcare Administration or a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification is preferred
Previous experience in risk adjustment, quality management, or medical records review is an advantage
