LHH is working with a prominent company in the Uptown Dallas area that is adding a new Senior Fund Accountant to their team. This role will oversee all aspects of accounting and general ledger activities for two private equity funds.

Responsibilities

Independently manage accounting and general ledger functions, including the monthly preparation of financial statements for various subsidiaries

Conduct ongoing analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts for multiple subsidiaries, with quarterly consolidation

Aid in audit processes, including the preparation of audited financial statements and footnote disclosures

Ensure adherence to monthly, quarterly, year-end, and project-specific deadlines

Review pertinent legal documents, such as purchase and sale agreements, and management and servicing agreements

Address accounting queries and discrepancies through diligent research and resolution

Undertake additional duties as necessitated

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

3-5 years or more of progressive accounting experience

Proficient in written and verbal communication

Demonstrated attention to detail and analytical skills

Competent in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook), PeopleSoft, Oracle Fusion, Oracle Financial Consolidation, and adept at learning new software
