Responsibilities
Underwrite and price new and renewal Primary Construction business, including general liability and related coverages
Evaluate risk quality through detailed exposure analysis and adherence to underwriting guidelines
Manage and expand a profitable book of construction business while maintaining underwriting discipline
Develop and strengthen relationships with brokers and agents to drive submission flow and market presence
Collaborate with claims, actuarial, and risk engineering teams to craft customized insurance solutions
Represent the company at industry and client events, promoting its construction expertise and capabilities
Qualification
Required
5+ years of underwriting experience in primary construction lines or commercial casualty, with strong technical knowledge of construction-related risks
Proven track record of building and maintaining broker relationships and driving profitable growth
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business, or related field preferred
