Complex Instrument Onboarding Analyst, Assistant Vice President
State Street’s Complex Instrument Onboarding team is hiring an Assistant Vice President (AVP) with strong business and data analysis skills. In this role, you will help improve service capabilities and product offerings by leading high-impact, cross-functional projects throughout the project lifecycle, focusing on complex financial instruments.

Responsibilities
Manage onboarding for bank loans and derivatives, including Wall Street Office setup and documentation
Deliver high-priority projects across all phases
Trade File Automation: Coordinate FTP setups and troubleshoot trade blotter and unsettled trades file flows with clients
Gather and document requirements; monitor progress and quality
Support business testing and post-deployment checks
Validate data, reconcile positions, and manage reporting timelines
Lead cross-functional initiatives leveraging deep knowledge of business systems, financial services, and SDLC methodologies, with emphasis on business analysis
Oversee project execution from analysis through implementation, ensuring alignment with business goals
Conduct detailed requirements gathering through stakeholder engagement, user interviews, and issue resolution
Analyze and document current processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to drive operational efficiency and compliance
Collaborate with operations, IT, project management, and internal/external system owners to define and implement effective solutions
Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and support technical teams through solution development and delivery
Act as a liaison among users, developers, testers, and implementation teams to ensure successful outcomes
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in Bank Loan processing and trade operations
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst or Bank Loan Subject Matter Expert
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Strong verbal and written communication abilities, including experience presenting to stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to manage relationships and collaborate across diverse teams
Preferred
Strong working knowledge of fixed income products is highly preferred
SQL knowledge is a plus
