Omni Hotels & Resorts is set to open the Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel in Fall 2025, which will feature extensive event spaces and amenities. The Host will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing seating, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

Responsibilities

To follow, enforce, comply, and adhere to all Bob’s Steak & Chop House rules, policies, procedures, standards, and recipes at all times

Greet guests when entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer service

Answer phone and record reservations as requested using good judgement and precise timing

Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and wellbeing of guests

Seat guests by finding a clean, available table, pulling out chairs, and placing clean menu in front of guest

Assist managers in opening and closing of the restaurant

Attend to and anticipate guest’s needs

Control heavy volume at restaurant entrance

Assist servers when needed

Familiarization with menu and knowledge of daily specials

Thank every guest upon departure, invite them to return, and wish them a fond farewell

Knowledge of daily function sheet, in-house VIP's, current activities, hours of operation throughout the hotel, etc
