Responsibilities
Advanced Redshift SQL coding, tuning and query optimization
Knowledge of Redshift internals as it relates to query and system performance and tuning
Understanding of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance in Redshift environment
Experience designing and leading Redshift performance benchmarks
Experience with large-scale data analytics and data warehousing
Strong development background, strong coding skills: No sql, python, unix and shell scripting
Experience with Agile process methodology, CI/CD automation, Test Driven Development
Must have Hands-on experience with using Cloud Platform provided Big Data technologies and equally non-big data technologies e.g. EC2, EMR, RedShift, S3 in Amazon Web Services
Good knowledge of Big Data, Relational Database, Data Architecture concepts
Strong analytical, problem-solving, data analysis, backend, rest api and research skills
