Desktop Support Engineer - Initially Remote

The Dignify Solutions, LLC is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to manage the lifecycle of end-user compute devices. The role involves coordinating with various teams for asset management and providing technical support for desktop and laptop devices.

Responsibilities

Co-ordinate with OEMs for in time delivery
Secure storing of EUC devices at depot. Co-ordinate deployment of local assets with Client and onsite tech team and remote team
Update asset details in ServiceNow asset management module
Asset tagging
Asset tracking and Reporting for all user compute assets at Depot
Co-ordinate with EUS team for desktop engineering related issues
Help Client’s IT with onboarding and termination process of end users from an asset perspective
Allocate device based on policy and approvals provided by Client IT
Deploy and configure Intune for Windows devices and JAMF tool for Apple desktops
Image device based on user profile
Hardware Break Fix Support at the Depot / Coordination with OEM
Dispatch EUC devices (laptops/tablet etc) to user location after proper transit insurance per details provided by Client
Hardware IMAC & software break-fix support for assets coming to the depot
Software installation for user compute devices, user profile transfers etc. as received at the Depot
Inform offshore remote desktop team for installation configuration and handholding
Receive devices from users leaving organization or users getting replacement
Handover EOL devices to Client designated disposal vendor after proper data wipe
Store devices with residual life for use as loaners as per process defined by Client
Provide loaners per Client approval for users whose devices have hardware failure
Manage asset lifecycle in ServiceNow
Data wipe for devices getting disposed or where kept in depot as loaner device
Trouble shooting and repair of existing
Software Asset Management and Hardware Asset Management
Candidate should be good process driven , Well versed with Laptop and Desktop Imaging , Installations trouble shooting , ( MAC and Windows )
