Responsibilities
Responsible for integrity of database including, planning, development, troubleshooting and issue resolution
Performs tuning, testing, system analysis and security management
Suggests strategies and provides input to high level plans to implement them
Designs, installs and performs ongoing maintenance and creates documentation for the database environments
Develops maintenance and backup procedures, change control processes and operational documentation
Assists application development teams in working with databases, planning and implementing production changes and assisting with query optimization
Implements and performs capacity planning, performance monitoring and reporting processes
Performs ongoing performance tuning and optimization activities
To provide support to production database when required (24/7)
Qualification
Required
Database Administration principals and best practices
Application development practices and techniques
At least 3+ year experience working with large databases including Data Warehouses and Data Marts
At least 3+ Years' experience in Intersystem Cache product
Need to have experience with backup and recovery procedures
Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting
Primary Skill: Chameleon, Internet, Technical Support
