The Manufacturing Engineer I will assist in planning and designing basic manufacturing processes in an industrial plant, contributing to the development of new methods, materials, and processes.

Responsibilities
Assist with the application of basic engineering principles to perform routine design, fabrication, modification and evaluation in support of manufacturing operations
Assist in conducting analyses or tests of a routine degree of complexity pertaining to the development of new methods, materials, processes or standards and provide recommendations accordingly
Assist in the preparation of plans, process specifications and procedures, production aids and assembly fixtures, MRP support studies, factory cost work standards and assignments of similar complexity
Assign work to drafters and technicians as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology
Familiar with analytical and CAD software
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
Strong verbal and written communication skills
