Responsibilities
Drive the designs and technical implementation of client stores and ecommerce-related requirements
Work with various CMS’s, themes and plugins to create functional stores to project requirements
Collaborate closely with the creative team to validate design UX & UI decisions and deliver on the overall project vision
Work alongside a small team of developers to discuss solutions, make decisions, estimate/validate, and ensure the technical feasibility of planned feature development
Report progress and escalate issues or slippage in a timely fashion
Troubleshoot problems and operate independently

8-12 Years Of Experience In US (New Jersey)
Expertise in Big Commerce Platform
worked extensively in Blueprint/Stencil Framework for Big Commerce
Template/Theme Creation for Big Commerce
Symantec HTML5 + CSS pre processors (LESS/SASS)
Node.js
WebPack
Vanilla JavaScript/ES6
Responsive Frameworks - Foundation, Bootstrap
Fetch API + REST API

Preferred
5+ years of experience with the Bigcommerce Platform, specifically a portfolio of stores
Platform certifications big PLUS
Full-stack development experience (REST APIs Backend, DB modeling, CI/CD, Deployment automation)
Experience working within Agile project management methodology
6+ years of experience in high-end front-end development
5+ years of experience with PHP, Ruby, CSS, SCSS, Javascript
4+ years of experience with Git and code management
Experience creating Ecommerce Plugins/modules (public or private)
Experience with React and GraphQL
Experience with headless commerce
Experience with other ecommerce frameworks such as: Commerce Tools, SFCC/Demandware, Magento, etc
