Responsibilities
Define Insurance business, functional and reporting requirements
Conduct user acceptance testing for business-critical solutions
Write and execute MS SQL queries
Utilize project tools including Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Articulate clearly to all project members and stakeholders
Manage multiple projects simultaneously
Work well with technical and business resources
Qualification
Required
5+ years of proven experience in business analysis including defining Insurance business, functional and reporting requirements and conducting user acceptance testing for business-critical solutions in complex environments
Experience with Guidewire Claim Center systems is required
Detailed claims processing knowledge and experience with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Proven hands-on experience in writing and executing MS SQL query is required
Insurance/Reinsurance industry experience and knowledge with an understanding of the terminology, business functions (Claims) and business processes
Experienced with formal SDLCs and business analysis methodologies and working knowledge of business analysis documentation standards
Extensive experience in using standard project tools including Microsoft Team Foundation Server (via Visual Studio), Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders
Must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources
Strong initiative, able to self-manage
Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work through it to get the right things done
Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
Team player who works well with technical and business resources
Personal time management skills and ability to meet individual and team deadlines
Preferred
Experience With Guidewire Policy Center Is Preferred
