Managed a majority of projects from start to close
Managed project financial costs, including preparing financial forecasts, reconciling invoices, and timekeeping
Increasing accountability within candidates project management career
Demonstrates expert-levels of capability in all project management competencies, including: planning, executing, monitoring and controlling of IT projects
Experience managing vendors, requesting, and executing SOWs
Demonstrates appropriate sense of urgency to meet project deadlines and pushes the team to ensure timeliness
Demonstrates strong customer focus; is responsive, consultative, collaborative and accurate in work approach
Considers project impacts and outcomes from the business (customer’s) perspective
Able to create clear, concise messaging to all organizational levels
Demonstrates experience delivering difficult messages to stakeholders and leaders
Exercises sound judgment, making informed, successful decisions from a set of complex options
Qualification
Required
10 years or more of project management experience delivering IT software projects
Managed a majority of projects from start to close
Managed project financial costs, including preparing financial forecasts, reconciling invoices, and timekeeping
Increasing accountability within candidates project management career
10 years or more IT and P&C Insurance industry experience (supervisory experience is a plus)
Candidate should be an advanced user of MS Project, experienced with how to manage plans that contain auto-scheduled, effort-driven tasks
Demonstrates expert-levels of capability in all project management competencies, including: planning, executing, monitoring and controlling of IT projects
Experience managing vendors, requesting, and executing SOWs
Demonstrates appropriate sense of urgency to meet project deadlines and pushes the team to ensure timeliness
