Responsibilities

Serve as engineering focal point for all activity within the projects including strategic planning, bid and proposal support for engineering content, engineering strategy and integrated plans on programs, engineering staffing, issue reporting, and risk and opportunity management

Project execution leadership to technical team; plan, execute, and manage all engineering efforts within the project. This includes tailoring company processes and procedure to execute research programs

Partner and collaborate with program managers, functional engineering managers, subcontractors, and customers, and factories to ensure program goals, requirements, and needs are understood and achieved

Monitor project plans and execution to ensure technical and work scope requirements, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained

Effectively communicate with clear, concise messaging to teams and leadership

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar field

Active DoW Top Secret clearance, ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP clearances

Typically, 8+ years experience in engineering, operations, management or related fields

Demonstrated ability to lead small multi-discipline teams on software focused programs

Preferred

Master's Degree in Engineering or similar field

Experience/familiarity with one of the following topics: RF/Digital Signal Processing, Electronic Warfare, Electronic Attack, and Electronic Support Measures, Cyber vulnerability research and reverse engineering

Experience leading research and development programs with a larger multi-discipline team (including subcontractors) across multiple sites

Experience in bidding and winning new business

Ability to communicate technical project performance with leadership
