Responsibilities
Assist with Fundraising:
Play a pivotal role in fundraising efforts, leveraging industry connections and expertise
Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy
Engage with venture capitalists, investors, and partners to secure funding
VC Connections:
Utilize existing relationships with venture capitalists and financial institutions
Expand the network to include influential contacts beneficial for NeedleAI’s growth
Represent NeedleAI in financial and investment communities
Financial Planning and Strategy:
Lead financial planning, budgeting, and investment strategies to support NeedleAI’s objectives
Assess and analyze various growth scenarios and business opportunities
Implement effective and robust financial systems and processes
Record-Keeping and Reporting:
Ensure accurate and timely financial and managerial reporting
Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Maintain records of investments, expenditures, and cash flow
Financial Analysis:
Conduct regular financial analysis to determine profitability, liquidity, and solvency
Provide strategic recommendations based on financial data and market trends
Identify areas for cost reduction and operational improvements
Supervision of Finance Unit:
Oversee the finance department to ensure optimal performance
Guide and develop a team of finance professionals
Foster an environment of continuous improvement and professional growth
Chief Financial Spokesperson:
Serve as the primary financial contact for the organization
Communicate with stakeholders, board members, and external partners regarding NeedleAI’s financial strategy and performance
Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain positive relationships with financial institutions
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as CFO, finance officer, or relevant role, preferably in a startup or technology-driven business
Strong understanding of corporate financial law and risk management practices
Excellent knowledge of data analysis, forecasting models, and financial software
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field; a CPA or CFA is a plus
Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong problem-solving and creative skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
