Avalon Health Care Group is seeking an Administrator in Training (AIT) to join their team at Avalon Care Center Federal Way. The AIT will learn and develop the skills necessary to become a licensed nursing home administrator, working closely with the current administrator and management team to gain experience in all aspects of running a skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities

Assist with the day-to-day operations of the facility

Learn and understand state and federal regulations related to skilled nursing facilities

Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures

Participate in staff meetings and training sessions

Assist with the hiring and training of new staff members

Assist with the management of resident care and services

Assist with the management of the facility's budget and financial operations

Assist with the management of the facility's physical plant and equipment

Assist with the management of the facility's marketing and public relations efforts
