Responsibilities

Preparation and application of powder coatings to metal and other surfaces
Ensure a high-quality finish that meets standards
Collaborate with production and quality teams
Surface preparation through cleaning, masking, and pre-treatment processes
Operation of powder coating equipment to apply uniform coatings
Inspect coated surfaces to ensure proper quality, thickness, and consistency
Troubleshoot equipment as needed
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Adhere to safety protocols

Qualification

Required

High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in powder coating or industrial painting
Strong attention to detail
Familiarity with coating equipment
Ability to interpret work orders
Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Close and color vision for coating inspection
Adherence to safety protocols

Preferred

Technical certifications
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Certifications in powder coating or related fields
