Responsibilities

Lead and perform SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) development

Lead and perform PLC and HMI programming (ex. RS Logix 500/5000, Studio 5000, etc.), commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting on machines, production lines, conveyor systems, etc

Recognize and pursue additional business opportunities with new and existing customers

Integrate various instrumentation such as pressure sensors, load cells, flow meters, etc

Understand the scope of work and be able to communicate parameters with customers

Recognize and recommend improvements and enhancements to customers

Recognize and immediately communicate design changes to Engineers and Project Management that are not included in the Scope of Work or active Change Orders

Work safely in proximity to a variety of voltages such as 24VDC, 120VAC, 480VAC, single phase and 3-phase

Interpret electrical drawings and documentation for custom machines, systems, and products

Configure controls components such as VFDs, servo drives, machine vision systems, robot controllers, field IO racks, etc
