Responsibilities
Assists in creating new electronic product designs based on customer requests or internal development plans
Assists with electronic part procurement
Builds prototypes and test fixtures, modifies circuit boards, and assists in testing
Assists in the development of electronic component test plans
Assists in the design and development of test systems
Performs testing according to test plans or work instructions
Supports bench level investigations
Tests final designs at different temperatures
Conducts experiments, manages and generates accurate records and/or reports of testing completed
Performs other job related and support activity duties as required
Qualification
Required
1+ year's Electronics Technician -or- Associate's Degree (Electronics)
Knowledge/performance of all laboratory technician skills and equipment
Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office, advanced Excel preferred
Soldering of electronic components and PCB level repair
Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings
Advanced knowledge of SMT rework and repair
Good organizational skills and interpersonal skills
