Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to attorney
Assist in opening legal assignments
Assist in preparing legal documents such as notices, claims, motions, objections and other pleadings
Assist in filing legal documents with bankruptcy courts
Assist in organizing and redacting documents
Assist in communication and reporting with clients
Assist in communication with attorney offices and staff
Prepare correspondence
Assist with calendaring and tracking court hearings and deadlines
Maintain client confidentiality and privacy

Required

Proven working experience as legal assistant or legal secretary
Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure
Ability to work independently and take responsibility
Experience with PACER CM/ECF court system
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Outlook Email, Microsoft Word and Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
