Responsibilities

Serve as the lead functional expert across Oracle Fusion Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, CM)
Conduct fit-gap analyses to align technical capabilities with real business needs
Lead requirements sessions with Finance, Accounting, and Treasury teams to capture and translate requirements into actionable solutions
Design and configure accounting structures, ledgers, and financial reporting hierarchies
Oversee configuration of workflows, subledger accounting, and approval hierarchies
Support data migration, testing, and integration efforts across multiple systems
Develop and execute UAT scripts, training materials, and process documentation
Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues, ensuring system integrity and performance
Partner with IT and leadership to identify automation opportunities and improve financial workflows
Collaborate with reporting teams on BI Publisher, OTBI, and FBDI financial data outputs

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or Business Administration
7+ years of experience in Oracle Financials — with strong functional knowledge of at least two modules (GL, AP, AR, CM)
Proven track record of end-to-end Oracle Fusion implementations or upgrades
Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations
Strong background in functional configuration, process design, and issue resolution
Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills — you can explain complex concepts clearly to both technical and financial audiences

Preferred

3+ years working in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials
Experience with Enterprise Structures, Subledger Accounting (SLA), and reporting tools like Smart View, OTBI, and BI Publisher
Previous experience in public sector, education, or large enterprise environments
Familiarity collaborating with system integrators on multi-module Fusion deployments
