Responsibilities
Create and deliver the small animal medicine curriculum in the team-taught systems-based courses in the curriculum
Develop assessment strategies in alignment with the overall competency-based curriculum
Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure integration of knowledge and skills across years and courses
Actively and effectively engage in student-centered instruction, coaching, and mentorship
Collaborate closely with the Clemson University community practice, shelter medicine program and with our partner clinics
Serve on PCVM and campus committees as appointed or elected
Qualification
Required
DVM, PhD or equivalent
Board certification or residency training in small animal internal medicine (ACVIM or ECVIM)
Preferred
3 plus years of relevant experience in veterinary medicine or education
