5+ years expIntellihot Inc. is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer who will own, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes and production readiness. This role is responsible for establishing documented, repeatable processes and driving improvements that support efficiency, quality, cost, and scalability.

Responsibilities
Own, develop, and maintain documented manufacturing processes, including process sheets, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
Lead the transition from a shop-based environment to a production-oriented operation through the implementation of flow lines, standardized work, appropriate tooling, and repeatable manufacturing methods
Serve as the primary Manufacturing authority in the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process, reviewing proposed changes for producibility, tooling impact, floor readiness, and execution risk prior to release
Analyze and improve workflows, equipment layout, space utilization, and material flow to increase efficiency, quality, safety, and throughput
Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production to identify manufacturing issues, resolve constraints, and ensure changes are implemented in a controlled and documented manner
Develop and implement process improvements based on data, root cause analysis, and observe conditions on the floor
Support training and onboarding by ensuring manufacturing processes are clearly documented, understood, and followed
Ensure manufacturing processes comply with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
Perform risk assessments related to manufacturing processes, tooling, and changes prior to implementation
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
5-8 years of manufacturing experience with demonstrated ownership of process development, production readiness, and scaling products from early builds through sustained production
Demonstrated experience implementing production methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Theory of Constraints, flow lines, standardized work, and continuous improvement practices
Proven experience with electro-mechanical products in a production environment
Strong ability to read, interpret, and challenge engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T with a focus on manufacturability and risk
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
Cross-functional team communication skills
Presentation and organizational skills
Preferred
Formal certification (Lean, Six Sigma, TOC, or similar)
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline preferred, with equivalent experience considered
