Perform process engineering and design projects related to both government (Dept of Defense) and commercial energetics materials, explosives, munitions, and propellants production
Performing process engineering functions on multiple projects (including process simulation)
Coordinating overall engineering efforts with clients
Providing project management coordination as needed to other engineers in the Oak Ridge, TN office
Qualification
Required
B.S. in chemical engineering from an accredited university
10+ years of combined plant operations, process design and/or project management experience
Ideal experience includes some process simulation and a variety and diverse mix of chemicals manufacturing environments (batch and continuous)
Candidate must have explosives/munitions or propellant process design experience
Preferred
Advanced degrees (M.S. or M.B.A.) and professional registration are a plus but not required
