Root's Heating and Cooling is a trusted HVAC service provider, expanding our presence in the Mid-Michigan area. We're seeking experienced HVAC Residential Installers to join our growing team, responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heating systems, ventilation systems, and refrigeration systems

Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems to identify any issues or potential problems

Perform regular maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed

Install and connect ductwork, piping, and other components of HVAC systems

Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with industry standards and regulations

Provide exceptional customer service to clients, including answering questions, addressing concerns, and explaining repair/maintenance options

Keep accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and hours worked

Communicate with management and team members to ensure that all work is completed on time and to a high standard

Attend training sessions and seminars to stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and techniques

Required

A lead installer should have at least three years of experience in HVAC installation and a proven track record of successful projects

Hold HVAC certifications- EPA, NATE cert

In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, including understanding of electrical and refrigeration systems

Ability to lead a project- delegate tasks, and ensure projects are completed on time and to the required standards

Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving to address any installation issues that may arise

Strong technical skills for installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC equipment

Good communication and customer service skills to interact with clients and address their concerns

Commitment to safety protocols and knowledge of relevant safety regulations

HVAC installation often requires activities such as bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, stretching, kneeling, and the ability to hear and speak effectively

Ability to manage installation projects, order necessary materials, and keep accurate records

Being meticulous to ensure systems are installed correctly and efficiently

Willingness to stay updated with the latest HVAC technologies and adapt to new industry standards

Should be available between the hours of 8am-5pm M-F
