The Facilities Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day management of repairs and maintenance of the hospital, managing a staff of skilled trades and general maintenance personnel while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Managing maintenance and trade staff in the operation and repair of an acute care hospital

Documenting and managing regulatory records

Assigns daily work orders and preventative maintenance jobs to technicians

Completes annual evaluations on technicians and provides advisory information to department director

Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree or above in an applicable field

1+ years' management experience in hands-on operational roles within healthcare facilities and/or healthcare facilities emergency management. A proven track record of successful Facilities Management or Emergency Management leadership experience

Strong technical knowledge of the following: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, life safety systems, architectural, landscape and energy management. Demonstrated business and financial acumen with budget experience

Experience in emergency management, incident command and emergency management drills

Experience reporting to Joint Commission, DHEC, and Fire Marshal

Driver's License Required
