Commercial Litigation Paralegal
Quarles & Brady LLP is seeking an enthusiastic Paralegal with a minimum of five years of litigation and trial experience to join their Commercial Litigation Group in San Diego. The role involves assisting attorneys in case management from inception through trial, including document collection, preparation, and support during hearings and trials.
Law Practice
Responsibilities
Collection and review of documents
Preparation of documents for production
Helping attorneys prepare for depositions and preparing for and assisting at hearings and trial
Preparing subpoenas
Assisting with filings and services
Qualification
Required
Strong paralegal litigation experience in both state and federal courts
Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience preferred
Bachelor's Degree and a Paralegal Certification from an ABA approved program are required
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Westlaw, Adobe and e-Discovery tools
Extensive e-discovery and other technology experience with applications such as Trial Director, CaseMap and Everlaw
Experience with processing electronically stored information (ESI)
Ability to learn and work with emerging artificial intelligence applications
Exceptional time management and organizational skills
The ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Highly organized, self-motivated
Preferred
Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience preferred
