Responsibilities
Develop ice cream products that showcase ingredient systems
Lead product development projects from concept through scale-up, including formulation, testing, and documentation
Collaborate with sales, marketing, flavorists, and sensory teams to align product design with customer needs
Support production teams by troubleshooting issues, attending calls, and participating in rework planning
Assist with customer visits, product demos, and educational sessions
Run trials in the pilot plant and test for stability, shelf life, and performance
Guide and coach less experienced team members on technical skills and project execution
Qualification
Required
A degree in food science, food technology, chemistry, or a related field
Significant experience in sweet product development, preferably across ice cream
Strong understanding of ingredient functionality and flavor application
Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences
Working knowledge of lab and pilot plant equipment, as well as standard food industry software tools
A hands-on, problem-solving mindset and a collaborative approach to team projects
