The Sales Account Manager will manage and develop customer accounts to drive sales growth, build long-term customer relationships, and oversee all account management activities including contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with customer base by providing excellent customer service and listening to customer requirements and needs

Cold call from a prescribed list of generated contacts, both commercial and government

Qualify business/government contacts and establish relationships

Ability to absorb/process vast amounts of product information, and understand the products manufactured by entire enterprise

Interact directly with sales manager and engineers

Make sales presentations to C-level corporate executives and senior military personnel

Calculate bids/quotes for presentation and marketing to client

Possess effective time management skills and able to juggle multiple clients and provide exceptional customer service, support, and follow-up

Attend and manage trade show activity

Work with factory to meet customer needs

Experience in ERP/MRP systems

Experience in CRM / Infusion Soft or other customer data bases

Experience in Excel or pricing software

This position requires up to 50% of travel by car, plane, and train as needed

Bachelor's degree

7 years of proven experience required

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a 'US Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required
