Senior Mechanical Engineer / Sales Leader

Responsibilities
Responsible for managing resources for Mechanical staff within the Mid-Atlantic area
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets in the greater Philadelphia and New Jersey areas
Work with internal business groups for cross-sale opportunities
Develop technical proposals tailored to client needs
Act as a technical advisor during pre-sales and post-sales phases, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business
Represent the company in client meetings, interviews, and industry events to promote services
Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited)
PE license in good standing
8+ years in mechanical engineering design and analysis
3+ years in technical sales or business development within an engineering context
Strong understanding of HVAC, piping systems, and applicable codes (mechanical, plumbing)
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audience
Preferred
Experience with design-build firms or integrated project delivery
Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainable design practices
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.)
Willingness to travel for project execution and client support
