The intern will support rebranding efforts, marketing strategies, and community outreach while gaining hands-on experience in event planning and promotion.

Responsibilities
Assist with rebranding AKU Nonprofit, including messaging, visuals, and brand storytelling
Support marketing and PR strategy development
Create and manage social media content (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
Develop visual and written content for youth programs and campaigns
Conduct community outreach to local schools, artists, and businesses
Draft and send professional outreach and promotional emails
Support fundraising and donor engagement efforts
Assist with event planning and promotion
Gain hands-on experience supporting wellness and community-based programming
Help with promotional projects and event logistics
Qualification
Required
Must be a college student currently enrolled and based in Charlotte, NC
Background or strong interest in PR, marketing, communications, branding, or business
Passionate about creative arts, storytelling, and community impact
Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently
Comfortable with social media and digital communication
Available for occasional in-person meetings and events
