Vice President of Engineering
The company is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to set engineering vision, scale teams, and ensure exceptional delivery across the organization. This senior leadership role involves aligning technology strategy with business goals and building reliable, scalable systems while partnering with Product and leadership to deliver durable growth.

Responsibilities
Define engineering vision, multi-year technical strategy, and operating model
Build org structure, leadership bench, and hiring plans to support scale
Establish engineering governance: standards, architecture review, and quality practices
Ensure predictable delivery across product areas with strong program execution
Drive reliability, security, and performance at scale (SLOs, incident response, resilience)
Monitor and improve engineering efficiency and health metrics
Guide key architectural decisions and platform direction
Balance innovation with pragmatism; manage technical debt strategically
Develop engineering leaders; set performance expectations and career growth frameworks
Create a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Partner with Product and GTM leaders on roadmap feasibility and tradeoffs
Communicate plans, risks, and outcomes clearly to executive stakeholders
Qualification
Required
12–18+ years in engineering with 5+ years leading multi-team orgs
Proven experience scaling teams and platforms in high-growth environments
Strong architecture background; cloud-native systems experience
Expertise in operational excellence, security practices, and delivery management
Preferred
Experience scaling SaaS platforms, data-intensive products, or AI-enabled systems
