Reception / Customer Service Assistant

McNICHOLS is the leading supplier of metal products with distribution centers nationwide, dedicated to supporting customers in building America. They are seeking a Customer Service Assistant who will provide administrative support to sales and operations teams, maintaining relationships with customers and handling various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via phone calls and emails
Communicating with suppliers and internal customers to check on the progress of existing orders
Handling incoming calls and taking messages
Meeting and greeting visitors
Distributing mail, arranging couriers, freight carriers, and tracking of shipments
Maintaining files and document control
Responsible for the invoice management, including scanning, returning and creating invoices
Provide administrative support for the Customer Service Specialists (Sales)
Administrative support Operations Team with Inventory and Logistics
Other duties as directed by the District Manager or Sales Manager

Qualification

Microsoft Office SuiteMS ExcelAdministrative skillsCommunication skillsMultitaskAttention to detailTeam player

Required

High School diploma or GED required
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Intermediate level of MS Excel, with the ability to create spreadsheets and manipulate data
Excellent administrative skills with ability to type at least 45 WPM
High levels of professionalism with strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong team player and the ability to work under pressure
Ability to prioritize and multi task
