Event Sales Manager
Lake Forest Golf Club is a premier golf, dining, and events destination in Ann Arbor, seeking an experienced Event Sales Manager to lead the sales and coordination of various events. This role involves driving event revenue and serving as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless event execution through collaboration with internal teams.
Responsibilities
Generate, manage, and convert leads for weddings, social, corporate, and special events
Conduct site tours, respond to inquiries, and prepare customized proposals
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and event terms
Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams
Collaborate with clients on event vision, layouts, timelines, and service requirements
Partner with culinary and service teams to develop menus, bar packages, and service plans
Maintain accurate records in CRM systems
Represent Lake Forest at networking events, industry functions, and promotional opportunities
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in event sales, hospitality, catering, or event planning
Strong food and beverage background required
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously
Results-oriented mindset with strong closing capabilities
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as required
