Responsibilities
Perform advanced maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems across large commercial office buildings
Lead troubleshooting and corrective action for complex issues in building automation systems, chillers, boilers, and life safety equipment
Oversee and coordinate preventative maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with operational standards and regulatory requirements
Provide guidance and training to junior engineers, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
2–4 years of hands-on experience in commercial office properties
Extensive hands-on experience in commercial office buildings, with strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
Advanced trade school or equivalent experience
Demonstrated ability to independently diagnose and repair complex building system issues, including automation and energy management systems
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior staff and collaborate effectively with property management teams
Preferred
Technical certifications such as EPA Universal, HVAC, or electrical license
