Responsibilities
Learn company operations before assuming full controller responsibilities
Own day-to-day accounting, close process, and financial reporting
Manage tax compliance (sales, privilege, and commercial activity taxes)
Oversee FEC compliance, filings, and political finance reporting
Handle HR functions including payroll, benefits, and compliance
Redesign financial and operational processes for scalability
Partner with leadership on forecasting and strategic decisions
Qualification
Required
Strong accounting foundation; public accounting experience preferred
Operations-minded professional comfortable wearing multiple hats
Proven ability to build, improve, and redesign internal processes
Experience with multi-state and political tax considerations
Based in or willing to work in Washington, D.C
Preferred
CPA preferred but not required for exceptional candidates
Political Experience is a plus
