Responsibilities
Handling projects independently, including literature reviews, experimental design, and data analysis, under the guidance of the laboratory PI
Contributing to the preparation of research reports, publications, and oral presentations
Stay current with relevant publications and apply knowledge to research
Compile data and synthesize innovative problem-solving methods
Collaborate and present data with a wide range of stakeholders and partners
Opportunities for presentations at scientific conferences and symposiums
Mentor and lead undergraduate and graduate students
Assist with lab maintenance and function
Qualification
Required
MD and/or a PhD in a biological science with a diverse knowledge of immunology
Proficient in immunology techniques and know-how
Strong scientific writing skills, ability to write and apply for funding opportunities and abstracts
Able to digest complex material and synthesize innovative ideas
Compile and clearly present data to an eclectic audience, both orally and written
Strong understanding of T cell biology and signaling is required
Demonstrate strong capacities to lead tool and technology development to interrogate biology
Preferred
Experience in gene editing, proteomics and microscopy
