Responsibilities
Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, and multi-axis machines
Serve as a technical lead and subject matter expert for CNC programming and machining processes
Mentor and train junior CNC programmers and machinists on programming standards, best practices, and troubleshooting
Review and approve CNC programs, setups, and tooling strategies
Collaborate with engineering to support new product introductions and design for manufacturability
Lead program prove-outs and support first article inspections
Establish and maintain programming standards, documentation, and setup sheets
Support and promote safety, quality, and compliance with company procedures
Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
Qualification
Required
Technical certification in Manufacturing, Machining, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience supporting new equipment installs, facility startups, or production ramp-ups
Advanced proficiency in G-code and CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks CAM)
Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, materials, and GD&T
Demonstrated experience mentoring and hands-on problem solving
