Pet Supplies Plus is focused on making it easier to get better products for your pet. As a consumables product development intern, you'll assist in researching market trends and participate in product development projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution.

Responsibilities

Work up to 24 hours per week with flexibility if full 8 hours aren't possible

Assist in researching market trends, competitive products, and consumer insights for pet

Assist with product development projects, from products to packaging

Participate in brainstorming sessions for branding, packaging design, and marketing strategies

Track project timelines and update development status reports

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, inventory, supply chain, etc) to ensure timely execution

Work with manufacturers both domestically and overseas

Prepare presentations and reports for leadership on product development progress

Required

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program (Food Science, Animal Science, Merchandising or related field)

Passion for pets and curiosity about retail and private brands

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
