Responsibilities

Work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements for Ground Systems
Analyze and translate requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications
Utilize Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools to document designs and provide traceability to project requirements
Test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
Solve problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
Level 4: 9+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR 7+ years of work-related experience with a Masters OR 3+ years of work-related experience with a PhD
5+ years of experience in systems engineering design
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools, such as CAMEO/MSOSA
Experience developing and decomposing system and subsystem requirements
Proficient in creating technical documentation and diagrams (e.g., system performance specifications, interface control documents, and supplier statement of work)
Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
History operating in Agile development environments and tool suites (JIRA/Confluence)
Strong communication skills and experience interfacing with customer counterparts
This position is expected to be 100% onsite
Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)

Preferred

Integration and test experience in lab environments, field testing, and flight testing
Strong RF and hardware knowledge
Knowledge of current military radio, modems, and antennas for Line of Sight and SATCOM applications
