Responsibilities

Collaborating with patient care leaders to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing levels for all shifts

Selecting and scheduling staff in a fiscally responsible way, minimizing overtime whenever possible

Striving to provide appropriate staff to meet patient care needs

Influencing staffing needs in a fair and equitable manner to staff

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent

Excellent customer service experience

Ability to problem-solve to determine creative solutions and options

Ability to courteously and tactfully gather and exchange information with a variety of recipients

Knowledge of basic medical terminology

Ability to influence others in a team oriented environment

Strong computer skills, including sending emails

For safety and quality reasons, must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors and fellow members of the hospital team
