IT Field Technician II – Executive Support

Responsibilities
Deliver white-glove IT support to Emory Healthcare's executive team, including C-suite leaders and senior administrators
Provide on-site troubleshooting for hardware, software, mobile devices, and network connectivity
Manage and maintain executive workstations, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and peripheral devices, a variety of both Windows and Apple devices
Ensure secure and reliable access to hospital systems, including EMR/EHR platforms, collaboration tools, and communication systems
Support video conferencing, presentations, and boardroom technology for executive meetings
Coordinate with IT infrastructure, networking, and security teams to resolve escalated issues promptly
Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, resolutions, and asset inventory
Proactively monitor and optimize executive IT environments to minimize downtime
Train and guide executives and their support staff on new technologies and best practices
Uphold strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and hospital IT security policies
Qualification
Required

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Associate's Degree in Computer Science or related field OR Two years of information technology experience OR four years Information Technology experience without a degree
Preferred
Proven experience as an IT Field Technician, Desktop Support Specialist, or similar role providing executive level staff support with high expectations for responsiveness
Expertise in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment
A+ Certification preferred or another Information Services related Certification
