Administrative Technician
The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services is committed to providing compassionate mental health care at the Lincoln Regional Center. The Administrative Technician will provide advanced technical and administrative support to the Staffing Department, ensuring efficient operations and patient care needs are met.

Responsibilities
Perform advanced administrative support activities, including managing multiple databases, spreadsheets and software to accurately staff the patient care areas with the appropriate licensed and unlicensed staff
Compose, prepare, or track staff related information such as time and attendance and training
Arrange schedules and prepare written records of information
Collect, compile, and extract data from computer systems, databases, statistical, accounting, and administrative records
Compile records and create reports, charts, and graphs, spreadsheet, and database software to support management decision-making
Track and monitor program-related information and ensure accuracy and confidentiality of records
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
19 years of age
Proficient in English, including the ability to read, write, speak and comprehend effectively
Coursework/training or experience related to research, presentation, or publication in an area related to the programs or functions of the employing agency; business administration; accounting; customer service; and/or technical support work, including use of computer software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and database management
Preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and creating charts, graphs, and reports
Experience working with medical record systems
Experience and/or training that is unique to the work assigned
A valid driver's license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation
Criminal history background checks and other specific background check protocols for their agency
