Responsibilities

Support the US Space Force, Space Operations Command (SpOC), Space Delta 8

Lead the operation, maintenance, and modernization of the Wideband Global SATCOM System (WGS)

Provide the day-to-day operational support needed to manage DoD’s satellite communications capabilities

Be available within two (2) hours of initial contact (by phone, e-mail, or in person) for any issues during duty hours

Be available within six (6) hours of initial contact after normal duty hours

Qualification

Satellite CommunicationsTelecommunicationsProject ManagementPMP CertificationOral Briefings

Required

US Active Top Secret or TS/SCI level clearance (eligible for immediate adjudication by the cognizant security authority)

Bachelor's degree

Minimum 15 years experience with a combination of Project Management, Project leadership, satellite communications, telecommunications

Experience with presentations and oral briefings as needed

During duty hours, contractor PM or designated representative shall be available within two (2) hours of initial contact (by phone, e-mail, or in person) for any issues

After normal duty hours, the contractor PM or designated representative shall be available within six (6) hours of initial contact
