Responsibilities
Develop the vision and roadmap for this product area
Define and prioritize product requirements based on business drivers, customer inputs, market needs, and field contributions
Define user personas and write use cases
Drive product development and collaborate with software development teams based on prioritized requirements and product lifecycle strategy
Support product launches by imparting product knowledge to marketing and sales teams
Present product vision, roadmap, and software demonstrations to internal constituents, senior management stakeholders, customers, press, analysts, influencers, and others
Identify new markets, evaluate emerging technologies, and explore business issues that may present opportunities or threats to the company
Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization’s secure software development goals
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in product management and/or software engineering related to data management, decision management, or AI/analytics
Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in data science, computer science, or a related quantitative discipline
Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications
Solid working knowledge of modern data management, cloud databases (SingleStore, Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse), and Spark based environments like Databricks
Entrepreneurial mindset and experience in working with software development teams to deliver outstanding results
Familiarity with one or more open-source runtimes, packages, and libraries (like Python)
Understand concepts of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and/or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) business models
Familiarity with Cloud Platform provider technologies
Ability to translate complex technical and business information for diverse audiences
