Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a CT Technologist to join their team, offering opportunities for both experienced professionals and new graduates. The role involves performing various CT procedures while ensuring optimal image quality and participating in on-call coverage as necessary.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of CT procedures both professional and non-clinical consistent with optimal image quality

Responsible for entering on-line charges in the computer system (Radiology Information System-RIS) and accountable for charges as specified by the Administrative Policy, ensuring a high level of accuracy

Participates in On-Call coverage as applicable

Follows guidelines for Radiation Safety as outlined in MCHS Radiation Safety Policy Manual

Qualification

Radiologic TechnologyCross Sectional AnatomyARRT CertificationOhio Radiological LicenseCPR CertificationCT RegistryPrior CT Experience

Required

Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program

Knowledge of Cross Sectional Anatomy and Pathology required

Registered as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Valid State of Ohio Radiological License required

Maintain current CPR certification

Preferred

CT registry preferred

Prior experience in CT preferred
