Abacus Technology Corporation is seeking an Enterprise Security System (ESS) Administrator to provide security support for the enterprise infrastructure at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC). The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining the ESS environment while ensuring compliance with security policies and providing technical support to users and IT teams.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain the ESS environment, including servers, databases, and associated hardware

Administer and manage physical access control systems, security-related databases, and supporting servers and network infrastructure

Implement and maintain security controls, access management, and audit logging to protect data and ensure compliance with federal and organizational policies

Monitor system performance, proactively identify and resolve issues, and troubleshoot both hardware and software problems

Perform system upgrades, patching, and version management, and ensure STIG compliance

Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system configurations, architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures

Provide technical support to end-users and other IT teams, and coordinate with vendors for support and repairs

Generate security-related reports and participate in audits and compliance reviews

Required

3+ years experience with enterprise security solutions

HS diploma or GED

Must have expertise in server, database, storage and security technologies to design, install, configure, administer, manage, upgrade, troubleshoot, diagnose, test, monitor, and document the FLETC ESS environment

Experience with system monitoring, performance tuning, and issue resolution

Experience with physical access control, surveillance, and visitor management technologies

Proficient in system security principles, access control, and vulnerability management

Excellent communication skills

Analytical skills to troubleshoot issues

Ability to conceptualize server infrastructures and configurations

Must be a US citizen
