Sales Representative B2B (Inside to Outside Growth Path)
Southland Polymers is a distributor of engineering-grade plastic resins with a long history supporting various industries. They are currently seeking a Sales Representative to start in an Inside Sales role and transition to Outside Sales as they grow their account list, involving local and occasional out-of-state travel.

Responsibilities
Identify and qualify new business opportunities through cold calling and online research
Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting to closing
Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers
Work with the Sales Director to develop territory-specific sales strategies
Partner with our logistics and customer service teams to ensure order accuracy
Use Salesforce (CRM) to track leads, quotes, and account activity
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in an industrial or distribution environment
Strong prospecting and cold calling skills are essential
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred)
Must be willing to transition to outside sales, including local driving and occasional overnight travel
Live within 15 miles of Santa Fe Springs, CA
