The Merchandising Coordinator (Grocery) will provide coordination and functional support to Pricing and Integrity management, assisting with various administrative tasks and ensuring effective communication and documentation within the department.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to vendors and stores on vendor and product support issues

Coordinate new vendor and item implementation process

Coordinate pre-order information with accurate cost and retail

Process promotional information for Marketing and Store Systems teams

Coordinate Procurement/Sourcing and Departmental paperwork flow

Assist with ad proofing/editing

Input/transfer ad projection information

Maintain internal product code database

Assist with maintenance/updates of sign database

Maintain/update pricing and/or scale maintenance

Receive/process and prepare/coordinate invoices, reports, memos, correspondence, emails, presentations and other documents

Coordinate and maintain calendars for departmental leadership; schedule and coordinate meetings, buying shows, etc

Perform other duties as assigned

Advanced coordination/administrative skills, to include good analytical skills, intermediate computer skills (Excel, Word), and use of general office equipment

Strong communication (written and verbal) skills; will be required to communicate to a variety of internal and external stakeholders

Eagerness to learn and take on new tasks and challenges

Two-year college degree (or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, or additional job experience)

One year of related experience

Must be able to work overtime, when needed
