Business Development Manager Events
TAG is a company that provides high-touch, personalized travel and event management services. They are seeking a Business Development Manager Events to support their growing sales department by managing the full sales cycle and developing strong client relationships.

Responsibilities
Be a driving force to contribute to the continued growth and success of TAG Events
Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, pitching, proposal writing, negotiation, and closing
Serve as the main point of contact for new clients throughout the entire sales cycle
Develop a network of strong connections and use proactive approaches to attract prospective clients
Lead commercial discussions and negotiate pricing and contract terms in alignment with company objectives
Continuously refine and prioritize target segments based on the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) to maximise conversion
Achieve targets of qualified opportunities and set appointments in line with agreed KPIs
Maintain the CRM tool in line with company procedures to clearly track pipeline and customer lifecycles
Represent TAG at trade shows, conferences, networking events, and client meetings to promote brand awareness and generate leads
Identify and recommend where the TAG Events’ offering can be improved to meet client-expected benchmarks
Collaborate with TAG’s global sales and account management team to share potential leads and collectively support the achievement of Company expansion
Input to plans with Marketing colleagues for social media and brand/company promotions
Liaise with the Director of Events and VP Sales & AM to forecast future sales targets and budgets
Respond promptly and appropriately to significant market conditions and competitor threats
Uphold TAG’s reputation for high-quality service levels and represent TAG with full professionalism at all times
Understand the TAG Events’ service philosophy and company objectives to only pursue compatible leads
Have consistent awareness of company and industry developments to remain suitably and effectively knowledgeable in the Travel, Entertainment and Events industries
Research and remain aware of Sales & Business Development methods to continually develop and adapt suitable knowledge and skills
Adhere to PCI regulations in accordance with Company policy
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Comprehensive knowledge of the Events market (preferably within a TMC client-base)
Extensive experience of business development within the Events Industry (preferably in travel)
Strong understanding of company values and objectives, strategy execution and delivery
Demonstrated success in a similar role in a competitive industry
Competent user of Hubspot, and or other CRM equivalent systems
Proven record of working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Preferred
BA/BS degree
In lieu of education, an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience
