Responsibilities

Conduct routine data collection, synthesis, and analysis using approved procedures appropriate for their discipline
Compile, reduce, analyze, manage, and report field, instrumentation, geological, and/or environmental data using spreadsheets and other tools
Prepare written reports, proposals, cost estimates, and other client deliverables, including technical sections of project communications and reports
Support client meetings, presentations and work scope development
Work on assignments that require a portion of time conducting field activities for environmental projects, followed by office work to provide client deliverables
Conduct on-site monitoring/ observation of contractor environmental related construction activities
Monitor subsurface exploration activities (e.g., test borings, geoprobes, monitoring wells, etc.) to collect soil, bedrock, groundwater, and other pertinent information for project investigations
Conduct soil and groundwater sampling in accordance with applicable ASTM standards, company standard procedures, and other industry standard guidelines
Perform routine data collection and optimization activities for remediation systems
Commit to maintaining membership in one professional society or technical organization in their discipline or primary area of technical interest
Plan and perform all work in accordance with company and client health and safety protocols
Demonstrate the company’s foundational safety behaviors

Required

Bachelor's degree Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Geology
3+ years of related experience including evaluation of environmental data, and presentation of technical solutions in a variety of written and oral formats
Professional Engineering or Geology registration, or ability to obtain within one year
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with clients, senior project engineers, and staff
Strong computer literacy skills including proficiency in industry standard software
Must possess a valid driver's license

Preferred

Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Geology
Experience with poly- and perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) is preferred
OSHA 40-hr. HAZWOPER training preferred
